More than a classic English breakfast tea. This tea is made using a mini tea roller that is tailor-made especially for Amba for their small scale production. They use 2 leaves and a bud to produce a more robust, everyday tea, with classic UVA characteristics. Ideal for those who like to drink tea with milk. But when you let it steep, you get a delicious soft tea.
You can pour this tea several times.

Amba Estate
Amba Estate is an organic farm in the Uva highlands of Sri Lanka. The farm is about a 30-minute drive from Ella, located in a small valley above the Ravana-Ella waterfalls, with views of Ella Rock and Lipton’s Seat. At Amba, they produce a range of artisan teas, coffee, spices, and preserves. They partner with the local community to support a variety of educational, economic, and environmental initiatives. (10% of Amba’s turnover goes to the employees).
When in Sri Lanka you can stay overnight in the old tea bungalows on the estate, learn more about organic farming and artisan tea, and enjoy our little corner of paradise. This is definitely recommended, we really enjoyed this oasis of peace.
We got this tea with breakfast or with the cake. She brewed this tea lightly for us and even then it tastes great.
